the moon

As I was driving home from "happy & pappy's"(grandma & grandpa) house from a fun day with my kids....I noticed how bright the moon was. So I got home, put the kids in bed and grabbed my camera and went out the door. The last time I took a picture of the moon was in college on a mountain in Utah. I remember feeling as if I were so close to the moon. Well, not the case here in good ol' denton, texas. I shot this from my front yard. I kept trying to get the right exposure.....

I also played with the colors a little:) This was shot at 10:30pm and yet it looks like the sun is rising!

and finally I got a shot of the moon and most of the detail...after many tries.

another rainy day

my kids love the rain.... and this is exactly what they look like watching the rain fall down outside the bay window....

I was organizing my photos of the past few months and came across this one that I forgot to put on my blog. Jumping on grandma's trampoline while the sun goes down..... it's always endless fun when it comes to kids

WOW! Lately all I have been taking pictures of is beautiful eyes! I'll go ahead and say we've got future models here!

WOW! This couple was so much fun to be around. Everything was wonderful and they were on top of the world. Two of the sweetest people I know....who are now spending two weeks in Fiji!

The most beautiful little boy ever. He cried for a little, then he heard the sweet voice of his Dad and everything was fine.
I could eat this one up!!! I loved his beautiful big eyes and that thick black hair!

another fun day!!

I swear I don't set my kid up in these cute positions....I was washing my car and this was the bucket I was using for my soap and water! All the sudden I turn around and he's totally in the bucket-with his diaper on! Boy do those things hold alot:)

waterhose & watermelon

I decided it would be fun to go play in our backyard the other day. Well, seeing as how it's so HOT! And we do not have a pool...I quickly whipped out the oh so fun waterhose!! Well, it turned out better than I thought! Once they picked up that waterhose I immediately ran inside to grab my camera-(of course)-and here are the shots I got:)
