andrus family fun day!! What a day it was....after a delicious meal we all headed out to play a game of tennis. And let me just state that maybe 2 or 3 out of 8 couples have played..a little. So off we went to play! It's quite the fun sport for laughs, but who could get serious with the andrus clan! All in all, it was a great day. Here are a few action shots...thanks vaughn and ann for a fun day!

I've known this lilte girl since the day she was born...now she's almost 2 years old and I can't believe how much she's grown! She was such a free spirit, just running around and trying to explore the world all by herself... and mommy or daddy were close by to catch her in those moments of "exploring!" thanks you guys! it was fun:)

congrats mark!!

well, he did it, the first step of a long and hard 3 years....mark got accepted to texas wesleyn law school!! This is where my older brother graduated just 2 years ago! Mark is such a hard worker,loves school and loves a challenge. I guess this is where it all begins! So, with now having 3 babies and my husband starting law school in august, it's going to be quite the adventure!

checkups

this week luke and dylan went to the doctor for their 3 and 2 year old chekups....I'm sure a normal person wouldn't blog about this type of thing, but mark and I love to see how much they both weigh....because either now or sometime in the future we just know that dylan will weigh more than luke. Their last check up, about 6 months ago....dylan was 1 pound behind luke. So you can see the excitement in this little challenge we have! Going into this chekup, I just knew that dylan was right there...all these times that luke picks on dylan and takes his toys away....finally dylan would have something to defend himself with...his weight. So, as they both approached the scale, the results were shocking.

Luke has further surpassed his little brother! I was so sure that this would be it! Oh well....someday. In the meantime, dylan just uses his high pitched squeal when he doesn't like something that luke did. and I am going deaf as this goes on day after day.

6 weeks old

6 weeks old and growing...this will probably be the last picture I put in her "baby album" since I can't really call her an infant anymore! As for the boys, we went to the doctor today for their checkups...I'll post that next!

lollipop

I love when some things can keep your kids occupied for a while....and seeing how big this lollipop was, it was a long time before I was asked to do anything like get a drink for them or change a diaper! My sister in law gave my boys a lollipop for their birthday and she knew how much fun I would have taking pictures of it! And I did...

all 3 feet...check!

you may think this was an easy task...but in fact 2 out of my 3 children were crying the whole time! I have been meaning to get a picture of all 3 of them or 3 of something atleast! So I took a million pictures and this is the one liked the best:) If I try and get all three of them again, it will be too soon! atleast for a while...

rainy day

The other day it started to get dark outside at 10 in the morning....which means it's gonna rain!! So I grabbed my boys and told them to come outside while we got blown over by the texas winds waiting for the rain to come. It was great! They loved the wind, and all of the leaves dropping down from the trees. Then it started to rain and I gave them their umbrella's thinking they would like it...but they still stayed under a covered area. I know someday they will be like we all once were during texas rainfalls....in the streets with our shoes off, soaked, playing in the gutters. Can anyone relate to this!

You know those times when your kids are quiet all of the sudden? This was only after 2 minutes of not checking on them to see what they were up to. Sure enough...this is what they got into. Could you imagine what it would look like after 5 minutes?! I'd love to hear everyone's stories or pictures if they have any of these moments to share!

4 weeks old

Time has flown by, and she's already 4 weeks old...it's been an adjusment having 3 under 3. For instance....I haven't wanted to go anywhere only because it takes so much longer to load 3 kids in the car! If luke could buckle himself on his own, it could be better! Luke still loves to hold and love on her....he still calls her a "he" rather than "she" sometimes....we're working on that. dylan loves to hold her as well, but then is "all done" with her after a few seconds! she loves to fall asleep on mark every night for like 4 hours! Mark had been a lot of help with everything. I only wish that I could pass her off to eat at night sometimes....ah-the consistant night sleep will soon come. She's a wonderful baby and I couldn't have asked for a better family:)

I love this picture of my little princess and I. I love that I have pictures of us when she's so little...because we all know how fast they grow up and you forget these moments. Right now I'm in the middle of it all...and enjoying it. she is still so tiny and I can't imagine her any other way. Whenever we came home from the hospital and I hadn't seen my boys for a few days, the minute I saw Dylan I thought he was HUGE! And just a few weeks ago he was my little chunky monkey. This is why we keep having more kids right? We want them to stay little....

birthday party

luke turned 3 on friday and dylan turns 2 on wednesday....I decided when I had them so close together that we would have a combined birthday party...atleast until they start to care! So on friday I asked luke what he wanted for his birthday breakfast. like mother like son...donuts!! so I loaded up my kids and we headed down to get the most amazing donuts in denton county. As you can see here, he devoured the spinkled donuts. staurday we had a few friends and family get together for a swimming party. It was a hit. you can never go wrong with swimming! So here are some pictures of the day...


I have to give a shout out to my wonderful mother who made these amazing "frog" cupcakes for the party. I think martha stewart gave her a call later:) They were delicious!

We had a great time...and since I couldn't stand the fact that they didn't get a chance to blow out their candles...I made cookies later and we stuck the candles in them and sang one more round of happy birthdays...
